The Beatles second appearance in Carlisle. The ABC cinema,Warwick Road.
This was The Beatles’ second concert at this Carlisle venue, following their show earlier in the year on the 8th of February supporting Helen Shapiro. This time the Fab Four headlined the date. With many volunteered accounts of “I was there!” given to us since the painting has been exhibited, we can confidently report that practically no one heard the lads perform for the screaming.
21 November was the 17th date of The Beatles’ 1963 Autumn Tour.
